GDIT is looking for a Training Analyst to design, develop and facilitate training materials in support of USCENTCOM J6 Information Technology Services (CITS) Program in Tampa FL.,

Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include Design and develop training materials, including presentations, training manuals, and job aids, ensuring content is engaging, interactive, and aligned with learning objectives.

Deliver training sessions to USCENTCOM personnel using a variety of instructional techniques, such as classroom, virtual, video sessions, and hands-on activities, to ensure effective learning. Facilitate user training both live and virtual, and capturing user requirements to understand and operate new and evolving IT applications and Systems.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in training programs and make recommendations to update or enhance content, delivery methods, or evaluation processes. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and develop lessons that address specific USCENTCOM/ CITS needs or compliance requirements. Training materials developed will include User Training print materials, Focused Video Segments/Snippets, Evaluation and Pairing of Technical and User Manuals.

Additional Responsibilities:

Conduct training needs assessments by collaborating with department heads and conducting surveys or interviews to identify skill gaps or training requirements.

Design and develop training materials, including presentations, training manuals, and job aids, ensuring content is engaging, interactive, and aligned with learning objectives.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and analysis of key performance indicators to measure participant knowledge retention and application on the job.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in training programs and make recommendations to update or enhance content, delivery methods, or evaluation processes.

Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, booking venues, arranging equipment, and managing participant registrations.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in training and development to incorporate innovative and relevant training techniques and technologies.

Maintain accurate documentation and records of training activities, attendance, evaluations, and participant feedback.

Required Skills:

Strong instructional design skills with the ability to develop engaging training materials and deliver effective training sessions.

Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.

Proficiency in using various training methodologies and technologies, such as e-learning platforms, virtual training tools, and learning management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify training needs, evaluate training effectiveness, and propose solutions for improvement.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple training projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information and concepts to diverse audiences.

Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and employees at all levels of the organization.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality training that meet the needs of the organization and its employees.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education and/or Certifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study and at least 8 years of experience

  • Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study

-VMware VCP

-Microsoft certifications

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Clearance Requirement:

  • Active TS/SCI

The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
