How You'll Create Possibilities

The Engineering Technician co-op will setup, perform and document tests on appliances and/or appliance parts under the supervision of an Engineering Technician. Appliances include refrigerators, dishwashers, washer/dryer, water heater, air conditioners, ice makers, microwaves and small appliances. Test setup includes but not limited to unboxing, wifi commissioning and moving test units to and from test areas. Tests include safety checks, normal operation, and susceptibility to voltage disturbances and electromagnetic interference. Test documentation is mainly in excel or other computer-based applications.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to work with minimum supervision

• Attention to detail and time management skills

• Good level of computer skills

• Experience with hand tools

• High school degree or GED

• 18 years of age

• Pursuing technical degree in trade school or university

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous work experience or reference

Working Conditions:

• Physical ability to move large appliances

• May require occasional weekend
