Meaningful Work From Day One

The Senior Global Portfolio Development Manager, Jack Daniel’s is responsible for creating and

managing a portfolio that aligns with our company’s goals and consumer needs. This role

requires a strategic thinker who can blend market insights, product expertise, and business

acumen to navigate the complexities of portfolio management. This role will collaborate across

the marketing function and with key stakeholders across the business, including production and

distillery teams, Research & Development, finance, legal and design to ensure seamless

execution of portfolio strategies.

What You Can Expect

Portfolio Strategy & Management

● Support the Global Portfolio Development Director in shaping a comprehensive

portfolio strategy, identifying market trends, consumer needs, and competitive

positioning to inform portfolio decisions.

● Monitor and manage the performance of existing products/services within the

portfolio, identifying any product or portfolio needs.

● Support the delivery of the portfolio strategy and NPD expansion across

geographies.

● Helps lead the Integrated Business Planning process for the Global Brand Team,

contributing to cross-functional planning and collaboration.

Innovation and New Product Development

● Develop and communicate a clear innovation vision and strategy that aligns with

Jack Daniel’s Portfolio Strategy.

● Lead cross-functional processes to generate innovative ideas, concepts, and

solutions that address business challenges and opportunities.

● Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of products, from ideation to launch. This includes

packaging redesign and Limited Edition Offers..

● Consistently monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success

and impact of innovation efforts and communicate with all relevant stakeholders.

People & Culture

● Actively coach, develop and guide the new product manager to foster an agile,

high-performing, motivated team.

● Champion a culture of optimism, continuous learning and consumer-centricity.

● Actively work to inspire an appreciation for human diversity that fuels innovation

and long-term growth and a diverse and inclusive culture, both internally and with

external partners.

What You Bring to the Table

● At least 8 years of experience in portfolio management, product development, or

related roles

● Demonstrated success in driving the development and launch of products

● Excellent strategic thinking and complex project management

● Proven ability to analyze and interpret a variety of data sources, especially category

and financial

● Experience leveraging consumer insights and market trend information

● Strong relationship builder with experience working effectively in a collaborative,

matrixed environment
