University of Louisville Dental Receptionist (Goodwill Dental Practice) in Louisville, Kentucky
Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma/GED and up to two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 1 (Hourly)Position Description:The School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Receptionist to work front office at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry - Goodwill Opportunity Campus Dental Practice located at 2820 West Broadway, Louisville, KY 40202.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks with faculty, peers, and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented and patient-centered care.As the first point-of-contact with the patient, this position checks patients in daily, confirming their contact information, current insurance, and consent forms, and registering new patients when needed.Verifies insurance and details benefit coverage for patients when appropriate.Conducts financial transactions, accepts and posts payments, issues receipts, and balances cash drawer at end of day.Creates, reviews, and manages payment plans with patients.Answers the phone in a timely and professional manner, managing a multi-line system.Schedules patient appointments as necessary.Maintains HIPAA, OSHA and Infection Control compliance at all times.Other duties as assigned.Target Compensation Maximum:$22.51Target Compensation Minimum:$15.00Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.Equal Employment OpportunityThe University of Louisville is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, and is committed to providing employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, age, color, national origin, ethnicity, creed, religion, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and expression, marital status, pregnancy, or veteran status.
