Under the direct
supervision of the Principal Investigators in the Department of Radiology,
Magnetic Resonance Research Laboratory (MRRL), you will perform the role of
Laboratory Assistant and will assist in all phases of the research cycle for
the Principal Investigator's ongoing research projects.
The Laboratory
Assistant performs the duties with a high degree of independence under minimal
direction. They are expected to complete all actions following the departmental
and section policies. Must be able to independently prioritize while exercising
personal judgment for identifying the appropriate and efficient methods of
completing projects.
Salary: $19.32 - $22.37/hour
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related biological/physical sciences - required
Knowledge (experience desirable) in post-processing of MR Spectroscopy and MRI data
Proficiency in Python, Matlab, Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Interest in research, resourcefulness, initiative to work and solve problems
Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent listening and observation skills, as well as precision, consistency, and patience.
