A reputable Surgery Center is seeking to employ a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and to manage our front desk on a daily basis. This position requires fluency in both Spanish and English, and experience within the healthcare industry is essential. Your main responsibilities will be to manage patient registration, answer and direct incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain patient accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office, ensuring a great first impression of our organization.

• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.

• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.

• Coordinates and schedules patient appointments.

• Ensures patient information, including insurance details, are up-to-date and accurate.

• Ensures all waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean.

• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

• Translates for patients and medical staff as necessary.

• Performs administrative duties such as filling, copying, and faxing documents.

  Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role in the healthcare industry.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish languages is a must.

• Experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers).

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

• High School degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.

• Knowledge of patient scheduling and billing systems is an advantage.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

• A patient and friendly personality, with great problem-solving skills.
