Overnight Machine Operator in Longmont CO (DIRECT PLACEMENT)

Job Description

As a machine operator, your main duties would be to set up machinery, prepare proper proportions for batches in a continuous process, and make necessary equipment adjustments. You'll need to interface with a computer system to monitor the batch process. This position also includes responsibilities such as collecting samples, recording, and tracking the product produced. You should be able to work independently as the job is fairly autonomous. Please note that it takes approximately 6 months of full training before you can completely handle the job on your own.

SHIFT & PAY:

• 2 nd Shift : 3:00pm-11:30pm (Monday-Friday) - $20-24/hr + 10% shift differential

• 3 rd Shift : 11:00pm-7:30am (Sunday-Thursday)- $20-24/hr + 12% shift differential

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery and prepare proper proportions for batches in a continuous process

• Make necessary equipment adjustments

• Interface with a computer system to monitor the batch process

• Collect samples and record and track the product produced

• Work independently after the full training period of approximately 6 months

Essential Skills

• Machine operation

• Production

• Batch processing

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to interface with computer systems

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience

• High School Diploma or GED (education verification)

• Comfortable working with several computer programs and cameras simultaneously

• Comfortable working around and with chemicals, including mixing and measuring

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in chemical operating

• Experience in batch making, mixing, and measuring

• Experience in food production

• Experience in pharmaceutical production

• Experience with visual inspection

Work Environment

• This is a fully on-site position in Longmont, Colorado, in a massive facility that involves a significant amount of walking.

• The environment can be dusty, and you will be working around and with chemicals.

• Training will be hand-on, working side by side with a tenured operator, and will take approximately 6 months to be fully trained to monitor the computer system and perform the job independently.
