Our client, a growing medical sterilization firm, is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the facility. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years experience with boiler operation, 2 years with HVAC, and 1 year with air compressors and pneumatics which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Long Beach, CA

Pay Range: $20-$29/hr

What’s the Job?

• Maintain facility equipment, both mechanical and electrical, in good, clean safe working order using a preventative maintenance program.

• Perform project work requiring both retrofit and new designs to improve equipment performance.

• Schedule maintenance jobs to avoid disruption in production.

• Document work performed.

What’s Needed?

• Technical ability to work on equipment in any area of the facility including boiler room, laundry, pack room, sterilization, washing machine and dryer.

• Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.

• Able to be flexible with schedule including evenings and weekends

• PLC, HVAC, ARC/TIG welding, pipe fitting experience
