Location: London (Hammersmith), UK
Reports to: Omni Analytics Manager
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, hybrid working system
Your Role in a Nutshell
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play an important role in Newell Brands’ strategy execution, supporting business transformation and helping create a data-driven insight-based culture throughout the organization.
You will use both business understanding and technical skills to facilitate the collaboration between business partners and technical teams. You will create and manage databases, analyses and reports to prepare and share actionable insights with business partners in the region.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage reporting through analytical models and BI platform visualizations . Socialize internal and external KPIs across the business.
Ownership of executive sales and syndicated market share data harmonization and reporting in EMEA region, including building and disseminating strategic reporting & analysis .
Identify opportunities and implement solutions to automate existing reporting.
Draw actionable insights from varying data sets : sales, market share, digital shelf, search, among many others, and present findings to non-technical business stakeholders.
Work with syndicated data sources and partner with technical teams to facilitate the integration of data from Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
Drive the continued enhancement and evolution of our analytics capabilities in the EMEA region to a best-in-class level. Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals.
Partner with our Central Analytics, IT and digital teams to develop and drive adoption of new analytics & tools in the EMEA region, as well as coach and coordinate the capabilities, work, and best practices of the local analysts.

What You’ll Need
Minimum:
Experience in business analysis and/or data modelling in a large international organization (preferably in FMCG or CPG sector)
Bachelor’s degree in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or equivalent experience
Advanced skills with all Microsoft Office applications for the creation of reports, presentations, and analyses (advanced Excel / Power BI functions such as Power Pivot, Power Query).
Technical background with experience using Python, SQL and other data engineering tools.
Your advantage:
Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to deliver a clear story to different audiences (technical and non-technical) to influence agreement on recommendations supported by data and insights.
Data driven, with an analytical / problem solving mindset.
Experience using POS Sales data alongside research and syndicated data providers (e.g. Circana, Nielsen, GfK ) to provide a holistic view for online growth.
Strong business acumen with direct hands-on experience providing analytics solutions in a global company.
Preferred experience using DataBricks and Azure to build and manage databases.
Some experience with advanced analytics such as regression, general statistics, or similar is preferred.
