Customer Marketing Manager – Encore (EMEA)
Position Overview
The Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the retention and expansion of Encore’s various segments, verticals, channels, and geographies across EMEA. This role focuses on leading marketing, positioning, and messaging for Encore EMEA. By developing strong relationships through engaging campaigns, the aim is to grow client account revenues. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Customer Engagement, the Customer Marketing Manager will work closely with internal marketing and sales teams to build and activate industry marketing and sales enablement plans.
Key responsibilities
Customer marketing management and sales enablement
Understand the industry-specific challenges faced by Encore customers and how Encore’s services and solutions can drive their business results
Develop and lead marketing strategies and content to support the Sales & Production team in winning new business
Create relevant assets and activation for customer initiatives
Develop tailored content for presentations, sales training, product sheets, case studies, blogs, and other sales tools
Support the GSO team in growing existing account revenues and acquiring new accounts through industry-specific marketing activities.
Positioning, messaging, and ongoing support
Create scalable go-to-market content and strategic campaigns for diverse customer personas and segments via paid, owned, and earned channels
Oversee marketing plans and tools for priority customers, executing through digital marketing, direct marketing, social media, advertising, thought leadership, and industry relations
Develop marketing campaigns and assets that influence customers to partner with Encore
Work with internal teams and external agencies to develop and deploy marketing assets
Partner with Product Marketing to develop and maintain marketing and sales tools for core event technology products
Ensure tailored content for key customer stakeholder groups, such as event planners and venue partners.
Measurement and reporting
Provide analytics and insights to demonstrate the value of marketing programmes and channels
Adjust strategies to improve resource allocation, customer acquisition, and revenue generation
Develop performance metrics and track progress for key KPIs and objectives to increase sector penetration and grow revenue.
Marketing planning and project management
Provide strategic leadership and develop integrated marketing plans, including web pages, blogs, emails, case studies, social media, lead nurturing campaigns, sales collateral, advertising, and sales presentations
Oversee the lifecycle of projects and campaigns, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery
Maintain the overall marketing calendar and collaborate with Digital Marketing, Communications, and Industry Relations teams to execute campaigns
Monitor and report on the success of marketing campaigns.
Content development and management
Contribute to content strategy alongside the Communications Manager
Oversee writing and production of content, distributing it via paid, owned, and earned channels
Develop assets such as white papers, content marketing articles, newsletters, email, social media, and video content for customers and industry partners
Create content for trade publications, press releases, client newsletters, and other efforts to generate awareness and understanding of Encore.
Candidate requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Proficiency in European languages preferred
5+ years of experience in Customer or Product Marketing in B2B organisations
Proven experience in strategy setting, planning, and executing marketing activities
Strong collaboration with Sales functions and a team-oriented mindset
Track record of developing and executing integrated marketing plans and measuring performance against metrics
Expertise in leading cross-functional teams and agencies to develop marketing plans, sales enablement tools, and marketing mix execution
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including content creation
Experience in deploying a full range of marketing mix options to support products/services
Hospitality experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
