YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

As our Client Director, you'll drive growth and innovation, positioning us as a trusted advisor for our key clients. With a creative, forward-thinking mindset, you'll challenge norms, cross-sell the wider WSP offering, and inspire our key account managers. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence and forge key partnerships, shaping the future for WSP with key pursuits.

You will lead the wider WSP Key Account Management team to greater success, you will be comfortable with autonomy and be accountable for having an effective overarching business strategy in place that will achieve future ready sustainable growth and maintain our top tier market position with this client.

You will be great at collaboration and engagement because working as an integrated leadership team is critical to success. Your will be accountable for the following:

  • Development of a key account strategy that will deliver business growth in line with agreed target levels and align our business to existing, emerging and developing opportunities

  • Delivering of >10% multi-disciplinary revenue growth

  • Responsible for leading and securing national procurement routes and opportunities

  • Facilitate relationships for others and the sharing of client intel

  • Provide coordination with other service lines and disciplines, to ensure sharing of best practice, innovation and project delivery

  • Influencing, negotiating and gaining commitment from key decision makers

  • Communicating expectations within WSP and handing over to delivery teams

  • Actively seek and act upon client feedback to enhance the services we provide and differentiate WSP from the competition in the sectors we operate.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • Exhibit and demonstrate behaviours and attitudes in accordance with WSP core values through effective team working with open communication.

  • Leadership experience in the Water or Environment sector in professional services.

  • Proven key client management skills – able to develop/maintain senior client relationships ensuring repeat business and continually improved client satisfaction.

  • A reputation as a leader in your field, with experience of leading internationally in the provision of professional services.

  • A passion for growth and the capability to foster growth in areas outside your core technical expertise.

  • An ability to cross sell WSPs broader services and enhance our client interaction.
