Your Role & Key Responsibilities

Your Role

Leading the Accounts Payable department, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of this business, this could range from ensuring the on-time delivery of our next big innovation to building relationships with key suppliers to supporting the Elida Beauty growth plan. Day to day activity will include overseeing and coordinating processing and paying supplier invoices within payment terms, managing supplier accounts and partnering across the business to drive value through our supplier relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Leading team of 2 direct reports responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers

• Play leading role in the development of new P2P processes across the business bringing increased automation and controls

• Oversee the processing of high number of invoices accurately and efficiently within Oracle

• Own the financial controls framework across purchase to pay to ensure only authorized invoices are available for payment

• Drive process compliance and KPI improvement such as no. of orders with POs

• Dealing with process escalations from suppliers and internal Elida Beauty stakeholders

• Manage process improvement such as PO approval process and understanding within the business

• Ad hoc journal postings and approvals

• Review and clearing of Good Received not Invoiced accounts

• Coordinate payment processing activities

• Handle inquiries and resolve disputes related to vendor payments

• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, finance or treasury to enhance cross-functional processes

Requirements

• A degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field

• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, more specifically with accounts payable processes and procedures.

• Experience of leading and managing others

• Interpersonal and communication skills with confidence to challenge and hold others to account

• Highly proficient in MS Excel

• Proven ability to innovate and manage change
