Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 As a member of the Sustaining Engineering team, you would join other smart, talented, and dedicated engineers that pride themselves in analyzing the most difficult challenges for the launch-test range while developing and delivering solutions to meet the needs of the US Space Force and their customers. This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This position is not eligible for a regular telecommuting schedule. Essential Functions Provide detailed architecture expertise ensuring compatibility with ground systems. Perform on-site reviews of components, logs, serial numbers, and report results. Critique and recommend changes to manuals, test procedures and test reports in accordance with tailored requirements. Attend technical interchange meetings, design reviews and review test data. Witness testing at the vender/lab facilities. Provide technical assistance to Range Users on test requirements and methodologies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have strong organizational skills with specific emphasis on attention to detail. Must be self-motivated to work independently. Must be able to operate under a timeline driven process environment and be able to solve problems. Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in a technical, computer science, engineering, or other STEM-related field Zero to two years’ experience in an engineering, data analysis, or related technical discipline Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience using computer systems, software or tools for data analysis and manipulating data in different coordinate systems. Experience with Range Safety Systems (RSS) preferred.
