POSITION:Special Education Teacher (.5 Middle School, .5 High School) Long-Term Substitute for 2024-25 School Year
EFFECTIVE DATE:September 2024
DESCRIPTION:The successful candidates will have:
Knowledge and background related to NYS learning standards
Experience with differentiating instruction for students with diverse academic challenges
The ability to meet students' social-emotional and academic needs
Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desire to work collaboratively as part of an academic team
QUALIFICATIONS:NYS Certification - Students with Disabilities, grades 7-12
COMPENSATION:Per Starpoint Teachers' Association agreement. Health and dental insurance benefits provided
