Seeking Full Time Day Camp Co-Directors to join our Lockport Corps

    SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    Develop and oversee Day Camp Program.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Youth Center Director to plan, organize, and direct all aspects of Day Camp Program.

  • Approved helpers may be used to ensure proper completion of tasks, but the Directors are ultimately responsible for outcomes.

  • Recruit, monitor, and keep records of all children in the program.

  • Provide socialization, education, entertainment, and safety during program time.

  • Supervise Volunteers.

Qualifications

SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Must be enrolled in accredited college.

  • Able to work well with young children, in supervision and participation in physical activities, games, crafts, and educational opportunities.

  • Highly organized and able to multi-task.

  • Excellent communications skills both oral and written.

  • Supervisory experience.
