Location: Must live within traveling distance of office in Livonia, MI but this role is capable of being primarily remote.

Scheduler position summary
Our schedulers are responsible for maintaining the schedule of care for all our patients, putting caregiver continuity and our patients' needs first when establishing care schedules. The scheduler may, at times, also provide support and coverage for payroll, intake, billing and the office clerk.
Essential Functions
The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned from time to time, as the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands
Completes schedules accurately, timely and appropriately.
Ensures scheduling is performed in accordance with defined policy and procedure.
Responds to staff requests timely and appropriately.
Strives to achieve continuity of caregivers at client’s home by scheduling no more than three different caregivers per discipline to a client during his/her length of stay.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health Organization Integrity Program, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
Coordinates scheduling and facilitates process of assigning caregivers to clients based on client need and caregiver continuity.
Communicates with staff to arrange initial visit, coordinate future visits and define an optimal schedule for all involved disciplines.
Works to fill caregiver vacancies due to illnesses, vacations, unplanned absences, etc.
Provides clerical support and maintains client files and caregiver personnel files.
Compiles and communicates statistical information for supervisor and corporate office as required.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
One year of scheduling experience in a health care setting.
Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and accepts challenges to improve processes.
Ability to type 50 wpm and use word processing software.
Proficient in the use of scheduling software.
Working knowledge of standard office equipment.
Ability to consistently demonstrate commitment to the mission and Organizational Code of Ethics, and adhere to the Compliance Program.
