Accounting/Administrator Assistant
Small manufacturing company in Ann Arbor, MI is looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our Accounting Manager.
Accounting Assistant Responsibilities
- Make collection calls.
- Reconcile A/P invoices and identify discrepancies.
- Enter accounts payable invoices into ERP system.
- Prepare weekly check runs.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Reconcile expense reports.
- Enter cash receipts.
- Assist Purchasing Agent
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience
Highly organized
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Hands on experience with MS Excel and ERP Systems
- Data entry experience or aptitude
- Degree in Accounting desired not needed
