MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :

To administer and promote a cost effective and safe building environment for all employees. Ensure the timely and successful completion of facilities related maintenance assuring the smooth operation of the facility. Provides general guidance and leadership of other maintenance staff.

• Replace Light Tubes and/or Ballasts

• Replace light switches

• Minor Electrical work (replace or add outlet)

• Minor Plumbing work

• Painting

• Minor Tile Repair

• Make Office keys

• Boiler Operation and Monitoring

• Assistance with Boiler Repair

• HVAC Monitoring

• Assistance with HVAC repair

• Sheetrock and minor wall repair

• Maintain Grounds free from Debris

• Internal relocation of employees files and equipment

• Repair small equipment and machinery

• Coordinate or perform snow removal and salting

• Coordinate Waste Disposal and Recyclables

• Assembly, Repair and Delivery of Furniture

• Coordinate with Outside Vendors and Contractors

• Emergency Evacuation Assistance

• Mailroom Backup

• Assistance with Building Security

• Delivery of Copy Paper

• Other Duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

• One or more years experience in the Facilities Management or Maintenance field.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and construction.

• Valid driver license.

• NJ Black Seal Boiler’s License (within 18 months of start date) required,

• Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required.

• Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service; behave professionally; treat others with respect and dignity.

• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
