Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Maintenance Technicians will work independently and with a team to support and improve automated equipment in the entire facility. This role involves performing complex troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment, including software, electrical, pneumatic, camera, and hydraulic systems. The technician will maintain and accurately follow protocols/procedures and maintenance work logs, and provide support to onsite operators and mechanics outside of normal business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the highest level of complex troubleshooting for automated manufacturing equipment.

  • Maintain and accurately follow protocols/procedures and maintenance work logs.

  • Apply fundamental skills to troubleshoot in areas where they are not necessarily subject matter experts.

  • Provide support to onsite operators and mechanics outside of normal business hours.

  • Provide work direction and training for less experienced mechanics and technicians.

  • Partner with engineering to develop and execute process validations.

  • Develop standards, tools, and methods, and provide or write documentation as required by the department.

  • Build and repair equipment, as applicable.

  • Use Solid Edge/Solid Works or other equivalent 3D modeling software to design, create drawings, and have parts manufactured.

  • Identify a wide range of trends or problems and help solve or direct their solution, and/or interpret and recommend actions.

  • Experience in the medical device industry preferred.

  • Skills and experience in the design and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and/or software systems.

  • Experience in the fabrication of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and assemblies preferred.

  • Experience in high-speed automation.

Work Environment

The work environment is a cleanroom setting where smocking up is required. There are two openings for the 4th shift, which runs from Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday, from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Littleton, Colorado.
