Summary

The Preconstruction Coordinator assists throughout the preconstruction process by completing prequalification’s, assisting the marketing team with project data for marketing materials, creating presentations, producing proposals for business development, and providing administrative support throughout the estimating process. Serves as the CRM database subject matter expert and is responsible for generating reports.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Preconstruction Coordinator will perform the following duties in a safe, productive, and effective manner:

  • Oversees CRM database

  • Manages and assists with regional CRM data input and reporting

  • Updates and maintains the Prequal Master, which is a repository of needed information to complete company-wide pre-qualifications

  • Manages regional prequalification process and takes the lead on completing submittal information

  • Assists Estimators with filling out bid forms and proposal submission

  • Facilitates monthly Ops/BD Meetings with Regional BD Leads

  • Attends weekly regional Estimating Meetings

  • Gathers project Metrics from estimators for each bid and updates database

  • Creates presentations for various company needs

  • Assists marketing team with various types of marketing collateral related to business development and preconstruction, including project profiles

  • Provides administrative support on an as needed basis for Marketing, Business Development, and Estimating

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is preferred

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures

  • Ability to work with mathematical equations such as percentages, ratios, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • Ability to work alongside co-workers in a team environment and colleagues in a related business department

  • Ability to research and analyze various types of data

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, good time management skills

  • Ability to sift through information and parse it to the appropriate collateral documents
