The Role

We are looking for a Transition Manager that will partner with business operation leaders to manage and drive projects within the business across multiple geographies. The role will involve working in a cross-functional environment to effectively deliver projects and meet stringent timelines.Some of your tasks will be to:

KPI Management

  • Handled large and multiple end to end transitions with different levels of complexities. Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones

  • Has lead projects in the past

  • Experience in due diligence for transition, process mapping, business case creation, cost benefit analysis, project planning and implementation

  • Strong focus on deliverables – do whatever it takes to meet timelines and quality of deliverables

  • Create and maintain the project deliverables including but not limited to project plan, risk plan, resource management plan, weekly project status reports, communications plan, meeting minutes, actions/issues/decisions register

  • Report program status and escalate risks & issues along with mitigation ideas

  • Ensure benefit delivery as per financial and non-financial targets in individual and managed projects through effective implementation and change management

Relationship management

  • Works well with teams and promotes best practice sharing

  • Successful partnering with business leaders to understand internal and external customer requirements

  • Ability to closely partner with operations personnel (across geographies) on projects

  • Ability to network with entire Willis organization and get things done by building bridges

People management/ development

  • Inspires operational employees to create their own action plan and achieve results

  • Aware of mind-set and behaviour challenges in an operational transformation

The Requirements

You are the person that we need if you have:

  • Bachelor degree

  • Project Management certifications preferred (Prince2 / PMP)

  • Must be proficient in Advanced MS Office (Excel. Word, Power Point)

  • Excellent written & verbal communication in English. Other European languages is a plus.

  • Proactive approach and results focused

  • Should be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and reach best possible result

  • Must be able to independently identify root causes, gather and analyze data to support hypotheses and develop actionable recommendation

  • Must be willing and able to travel and work in multiple time zones

  • 5+ years of experience in a project management or transition management role

  • Proven track record of running large projects

  • Experience in insurance / broking or financial services industry will be added advantage
