We are seeking a part-time Accountant with a focus on credit management to join our team in the financial services industry. Based in Lexington, South Carolina, this role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an part-time Accounting Clerk, you will be involved in processing customer credit applications, maintaining credit records, and handling customer inquiries related to credit.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries related to credit in a timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly for any discrepancies

• Take appropriate action to collect overdue payments from customers

• Perform accounting functions related to commercial real estate transactions

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for accounting and record-keeping purposes

• Apply knowledge and understanding of the commercial real estate industry in daily tasks.

Requirements • Proficiency in performing various Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Commercial Real Estate

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
