Job Summary | This position is responsible for creating and executing against a contracting strategy for the assigned clinical areas. This includes management of day to day contracting activities such as drafting and negotiating contracts within the limits of UKHC departmental purchasing authority, monitoring contract performance, developing, evaluating, managing vendor relationships and options, building relationships with stakeholders to reach consensus and implementing contracts with end users. The position manages both GPO and local contracts. In addition, the clinical sourcing lead is responsible for conducting benchmarking activities, reviewing industry best practice and deep collaboration with other teams to achieve cost savings, increase quality, and build and maintain a competitive departmental contracting portfolio in collaboration with the Purchasing Division. The process of managing contracts in the assigned clinical areas should at all times be aligned with the vision of SC. Internal Employee Being Considered (IEBC). |

Preferred Education/Experience | Bachelor’s Degree plus 6 years in sourcing, purchasing/contracting. Experience in heatlhcare setting is preferred. |
