Kentucky Blood Center Donor Communications Support Supervisor (Dayshift & Incentive) in Lexington, Kentucky

$500 Sign-On Bonus (after 90-days); Monthly performance incentive opportunities.

The Donor Communications Support Supervisor will assist in coordinating the reporting and recordkeeping activities of the Donor Scheduling call center team. The role fulfills department administrative responsibilities, special recruitment functions, and is involved in projects, as needed. Reports to the Director of Donor Communication.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8a-4:30p. Regular alternating half-day Fridays and Saturdays, 10a - 2p. On weeks when scheduled off on Saturday, employee will work 8a-4:30p on Friday. Occasional evenings.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provides administrative support for the donor communications department.

  • Acts as a primary scheduler for special recruitment efforts.

  • Maintains accurate address records and performs routine updates based on National Change of Address data received after mailings.

  • Assists with first-time donor stewardship program, completing follow-up calls related to overall experiences, and providing information regarding how their donation is used.

  • Performs all Donor Scheduler responsibilities as needed

  • Assists with appointment confirmations as needed.

  • Fulfills other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Related customer service clerical experience required; call center and/or inside sales background preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact by phone with professionalism and courtesy.

  • MS Office and data entry proficiency, with the ability to effectively navigate web-based applications, and internal systems; working knowledge of social media platforms is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organization and data/report analysis skills.
