Robert Half Lexington is offering multiple contract to hire employment opportunities for a Lexington-based company for a Customer Service Representative role in the hospitality industry. The role focuses on managing customer reservation issues and troubleshooting a variety of client/company concerns over the phone. The selected candidate will be expected to work efficiently, maintain accurate records via data entry in multiple software platforms, and ensure all customer inquiries are resolved in a timely manner. Multiple shifts/days of the week schedules are available--some 1st shifts and many 2nd shifts are open! Apply today to be considered!

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently to manage customer reservation requests

• Accurately enter reservation details into the system to meet client needs

• Utilize problem-solving skills to assist hotels and clients with issues over the phone

• Communicate issues effectively and professionally with all clients and departments

• Begin assigned duties on time and deliver on time

• Perform other duties as needed or assigned

• Ability to navigate through systems, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs

• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment

• Exhibit a high degree of initiative, responsibility, punctuality, and ownership

• Proficient in Inbound Call Center, Inbound Outbound Calls, Call Center Customer Service, and Resolve Customer Service skills.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in the hospitality industry is required.

• Proven ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.

• Prior experience in a call center, especially in a customer service role is essential.

• Proficiency in resolving customer service issues efficiently and effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Familiarity with customer service software and tools.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• High level of patience and emotional intelligence to handle customer complaints and queries.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or holidays if required.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education or certifications in hospitality or customer service would be a plus.
