LC State invites applications for the position of Maintenance and Operations Supervisor.

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: \$55,000 - \$58,000

Required Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience.
• Building maintenance and operations knowledge.
• Building energy conservation, knowledge, and techniques.
• Building codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of EPA and OSHA-related safety codes and practices.
• Must possess a valid driver\'s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate\'s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Skilled trades experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpenter).
• Building and systems maintenance and repairs planning.
• Training employees in maintenance activities.
• Scheduling/coordinating construction projects.
• Scheduling/coordinating skilled trades work order system.
• Means/methods of skilled trades and use of tools.
• Reading/understanding construction plans and specifications.
• Evaluating maintenance needs of buildings and related facilities.
• Materials procurement experience.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, and directs maintenance and repair of buildings, related facilities, and systems.
• Allocates manpower resources to carry out maintenance work.
• Plans and executes maintenance and construction projects.
• Investigate work order requests for feasibility, and generate cost estimates for carrying out the work.
• Procures parts and materials for work orders and projects, for facility repairs and maintenance.
• Schedules maintenance crew tasks, to carry out assigned work orders.
• Inspect work for quality and craftsmanship.
• Position is key to organize and manage the maintenance and operations of campus facilities. It supports the overall role and responsibilities of the Physical Plant and provides leadership and control for the maintenance personnel.
• Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.
