The Opportunity Adobe's Enterprise Tools team is growing! Join a highly experienced team with vital responsibilities and a central role in product development. As part of the team, you will help craft, build, improve, support, and maintain Adobe Jira, one of the largest and most sophisticated Jira Data Center installations in the world, as well as other tools and integrations. Our team is responsible performance and availability of the tools we support. We guide standard methodologies, handle requests for Jira project modifications, tackle Jira issues for users, and perform upgrades. We also provide integrations that bring together the product development stack that includes many external and in-house tools. We put a lot of effort into governance and tool usage efficiency. What We Do: * Run tools hosted on-premises and perform application-level upgrades. * Investigate issues, proactively optimize applications, and perform cleanup. * Educate engineering teams on standard methodologies. * Build, maintain, and improve monitoring and alerting systems using NewRelic, Splunk, Grafana. * Expand self-service capabilities by identifying and building tools and automations that help users and admins. * Work with infrastructure support teams to keep software and hardware updated and patched. * Participate in the on-call schedule, with 12-hour US time zone shifts. What You Will Need to Succeed: Are you able to work in collaborative space, with a balance of solo effort? Needed skills: * 5+ years of system admin experience at scale, preferably including Jira. * Accountability for both front-end and back-end-related technical challenges in the enterprise data center environment. * Excellent problem solving, debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills. * Proficiency with RedHat Linux system administration and programming. * Fluency with Java, scripting languages, Oracle and SQL databases. * Working knowledge of Atlassian products, GitHub, orchestration tools. * Experience with tool integrations on the enterprise level, like Jira and GitHub. * Customer support mentality with ability to communicate sophisticated engineering initiatives to programmers and non-technical users. * Experience interviewing and training new hires. Nice to Have: * Exposure to Jira/Confluence Cloud, Cloud migration experience. * AWS knowledge or similar experience with other public cloud offerings. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
