Tech9 Mid-Senior Software Engineer (.Net 8) in Draper, Utah

This is a hybrid role in Utah that requires this individual to work at our client's office in Draper, UT Tuesday and Thursday. Every other day will be a WFH environment.
What this engineer will do:
Own, architect, create, and maintain multiple projects
Perform fullstack web development using .NET 8 (C#) and other technologies to build scalable web applications
Design and develop cloud architecture (Microservices) to ensure that patterns for scalability, maintainability and performance are developed
Strategize and drive innovations in their projects
Be independent and not rely on higher-level engineers to implement product requirements
Naturally produce high-quality code that inspires other engineers to enhance their code
Seeks out ways to help other engineers succeed and grow
Ensure that assigned user stories (requirements) have sufficient detail to be implemented properly
Ensure that you have sufficient understanding of user stories to provide reliable estimates
Care deeply about the mission of preparedness and being ready to go
Proactively seek learning opportunities to enhance skill sets and career growth
Work with the project manager as needed to build requirements and understanding of software features
Perform peer code reviews to ensure that code standards and proper architectural patterns are followed
Maintain excellent communication with other departments, including Project Managers, UI/UX teams, etc.
Foster positive working relationships with external partners to ensure successful collaboration and seamless integration.
Minimum Qualifications:
Extensive experience in software engineering, including designing and maintaining complex projects. (4+ yrs.)
Strong proficiency with C# and .Net technologies and frameworks (.Net Core, MVC, etc.)
Hands-on expertise with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
Experience and proficiency building API's from scratch in a microsoft environment.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
Strong experience working with ambiguous requirements and acting as a self starter to achieve those requirements
Ability to mentor and coach engineers to enhance their skills and growth.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for high-quality deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud certification in Azure or AWS
Experience in Fintech
Experience in a high-growth startup
