Robert Half Human Resources Generalist in Lebanon, Oregon

Description

Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join a Manufactuing company in Lebanon, OR. The HR Generalist will support the company's 600+ employees and be a part of a 6 person HR team. You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in all areas of human resources, with a special focus on recruiting and onboarding, Benefits include 401K with match, medica/vision/dental insurance, HSA, disability insurance, life insurance, PTO and holiday pay. This is not a remote/hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in corporate recruiting to attract and retain the best talent for our organization

• Handle the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company

• Administer benefit functions, maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies

• Manage employee relations, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally

• Utilize HRIS systems, specifically Paylocity or similar, to maintain and update employee records

• Assist with payroll functions, acting as a backup when necessary

• Oversee workers' compensation claims and leave administration

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and other relevant regulations

• Provide HR support within a manufacturing company setting, applying industry-specific knowledge and practices.

Requirements • Solid understanding of HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems, specifically Paylocity

• Proficiency in executing Benefit Functions and ensuring Compliance

• Ability to manage Leave Administration efficiently

• Experience in handling Workers Compensation

• Expertise in Labor Law and Employee Relations

• Familiarity with Corporate Recruiting in a Manufacturing Company environment

• Proven experience in managing Onboarding processes

• Ability to contribute effectively in a manufacturing setting.
