Dartmouth Health Project Manager - Community Family Medicine Research in Lebanon, New Hampshire
Overview
Works within the Department of Community & Family Medicine in support of the Northern New England Systems Transformation for Primary Care (NNEST-PC). Responsible for all stages and types of NNEST PC initiatives from grant writing, proposal development and definition of requirements, to project planning, activity and productivity reporting, project oversight, implementation and management thereof.
Responsibilities
Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements.
Will lead team meetings for proposal development, review the written draft proposal with Department Chair, NNEST PC Director and Research Operations Manager.
Responsible for project data collection.
Reviews project financials with Research Operations Manager.
Initiates and maintains communication with NNEST PC Chair and Director, Research Operations Manager and team to facilitate project activities.
Establishes project objectives, procedures and performance standards for assigned projects. Adheres to project deadlines, timelines, and deliverables.
Compiles project status, develops and writes quarterly and annual project outcome reports.
Manages multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.
Represents NNEST PC in project meetings and attends strategy meetings.
Responsible for the oversight and management of resources allocated to NNEST-PC projects.
Establishes effective coordination and communications processes to report at a minimum, schedule, performance, costing, risks and mitigation strategies.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and communication skills; ability to foster a collaborative team environment; ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to a diverse community.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience in project management required.
Strong analytical problem-solving experience.
Demonstrated competency in project management skills within a complex, cross-functional environment.
Excellent communication, organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
Previous healthcare industry experience preferred.
Required Licensure/Certifications
Obtain PMP Certification within 18 months of hire and continue to maintain that certification.
