Maintenance Electrician
Pay Rate - $25/hr. - $35/hr. (Overnight Shift)
Job Description
As a highly trained Maintenance Technician, you will install and repair electrical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components for industrial machinery and equipment with little to no supervision. You will ensure that work orders are completed in a timely manner, notify the appropriate person to order supplies when necessary, and inspect mechanical work prior to operation. You may also conduct training for maintenance interns and some production workers. Your work must comply with all BRC, GMP, and OSHA standards.
Hard Skills
Installing and troubleshooting power supply wiring and conduit for machines and electrical equipment such as robots, conveyors, VFDs, and programmable controllers.
Troubleshooting programming of VFDs and PLC systems and robotics.
Installing and troubleshooting pneumatic or hydraulic systems for machinery and equipment.
Repairing malfunctioning apparatus such as motors and gear boxes.
Welding, cutting (torch or plasma), and basic metal fabrication.
Using hand or power tools for installing or replacing machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments.
Soft Skills
Communicating with vendors and suppliers, including electricians, plumbers, contractors, and grounds maintenance providers.
Transferring tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas.
Disassembling broken or defective equipment and reassembling equipment when repairs are complete.
Examining and testing machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning.
Completing paperwork and using basic CMMS functions as directed.
Ensuring compliance with GMP and company safety standards.
Ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency requirements.

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Work Environment
Night shift is from 6pm – 6am with a 4-3-2-3 cycle (4 on 4 off, 3 on 3 off, 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off repeat), cycling 3 weekends on and three weekends off.
