Within the worldwide quality organisation of you Pharmaceutical Systems Business unit, you integrate and act as a quality expert for projects involving the development of new products or the management of existing product lifecycle, of varying complexity. You oversee the implementation of quality engineering activities to ensure project objectives are met, often by coordinating with other quality contributors. You establish priorities and contribute to team planning, leveraging your expertise to solve problems and support complex projects.

About the role

Main responsibilities :

  • Planning and supervision of Quality Engineering activities for R&D or Operations projects, including:

  • Evaluation of customer requirements and Quality standards

  • Adherence to Design Control and product risk management

  • Coordination with R&D and Engineering for modifications and quality responses

  • Development and/or tracking of supplier validation and qualification plans

  • Definition and updating of product and process control strategy

  • Validation of products under development

  • Proactive problem resolution

  • Quality Engineering recommendations and expertise for internal parties, regulatory agencies, and customers, including coaching junior quality engineers

  • Engagement in continuous training to improve skills and knowledge transfer

  • Contribution to continuous improvement of products and practices to support business by enhancing quality and customer experience

  • Responsibility for PS global processes and standards concerning Quality Engineering activities, with significant impact on project/program results and timelines.

Preferred profile

  • Engineer, Master's in Quality Management, or Science. Alternative without a Bachelor's +5: Minimum of fifteen years of experience in a related field.

  • Required Experience: 5-7 years in a regulated and high-volume industrial environment, ideally in Healthcare, Pharma, Biology, or Medical Devices

  • Required Knowledge:

  • ISO13485 standards and regulations, QSR, GMP

  • Principles of Design Control

  • Statistical methods for quality assurance

  • Six Sigma methodology

  • Quality system, manufacturing process and computerized systems validation, FMEA/Risk management

  • Production

  • Required Skills:

  • Analytical, applied statistical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Accurate assessment, understanding, and communication of project elements.

  • Autonomous management of multiple projects concurrently.

  • Written and oral communication, including English.

  • Work in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Rigor, organization, and leadership.

  • Occasional professional travel may be required.
