Job Summary and Qualifications

The Intake Assessment Coordinator in conjunction with the Program Director coordinates the pre-admission assessment process and provides clinical assessments for potential patients. Also, assists with community education with clinical issues and participates with community events such as health fairs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Possess a thorough knowledge of current behavioral health concepts, principles and methods of treatment.

• Possess good communication skills verbal and written.

• Possess good organization skills and be able to act on multiple tasks.

• Understand and be able to train on all the state and federal standards regarding behavioral health assessment, petition, medical screening and patient rights. EDUCATION: · RN Diploma, or Associates degree in nursing or in a related mental health field EXPERIENCE: · Prefer 1-3 years’ experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments or in a clinical treatment setting. CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nevada or a LCSW or a LFT or a LPC or a Mental Health Counselor Intern or a LMSW or a Clinical Social Worker.

• BCLS certification required

• CPI certification within 30 days of hire
