Description:

o Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products,

and systems

o Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks

o Guide and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and

testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements

o Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment

specifications and compliance with operations and safety standards

o Identify engineered resolutions to recurring electrical issues

o Ensure compliance with international, federal, and state regulations

o Maintain legacy code

o Help design and implement new software solutions

o Low-level microcontroller coding

o Programming languages: C, C++, C#

o Experience with Windows

o Linux experience a plus

o Experience with Atmel/Microchip microcontrollers

o Other duties or projects as assigned

o Experience with Altium

o Experience with QT

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

o High School diploma a minimum

o If no undergraduate degree candidate must show at least 5 years of experience in the respected field

o BS in Software Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering with a software experience preferred

o Demonstrates ability to work successfully as part of a team

o Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities

o 1-2 years of software or electrical engineering experience required

o Understand and follow specifications, schematic diagrams, and process instructions in order to assemble and

repair electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies

o Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters

o Experience with low-voltage wiring
