Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team based in Lansing, Michigan. You will be part of a team in the trades industry, where you will be primarily tasked with answering customer queries, scheduling, and exercising good judgement in providing solutions. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming calls and responding to customer queries in a timely and efficient manner

• After comprehensive training, be the first point of contact for all customer inquiries and concerns

• Utilize authority to provide discounts where necessary to ensure customer satisfaction

• Schedule services for customers, taking into account their preferences and the availability of the technical team

• Maintain a self-sufficient work ethic, taking initiative to resolve customer issues while also exhibiting a calming, de-escalating personality

• Use Microsoft Excel and Dynamics for scheduling and other tasks (training will be provided for Dynamics)

• Work in a cubicle area in the service department as part of a team

• Ensure customer service is provided in a detail oriented and timely manner

• Demonstrate good judgement in all customer interactions

• Manage switchboard, handling 1-10 lines at any given time.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Previous experience in a customer service role

• Ability to handle a switchboard with multiple lines

• Knowledge of the HVAC industry is a plus
