Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Payroll Clerk job opportunity located in Lake Zurich, IL 60047 zip code.

Shift: Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm (OT may be expected around 3-5 hours a week depending upon business need)

(3days onsite, 2 days remote)

Length : 3+ months (possible extension or temp - hire)

Pay Rate : $ 27.00/HR

Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities.

• Process wage and salary payments, audit time entries, and calculate and process special checks.

• Process new hire paperwork and terminations.

• Utilize automated time and attendance software and programs in day-to-day operations.

• Provide time and attendance software support and resolve issues for HR and employees.

• Perform daily and weekly audits associated with payroll operations.

• Handle general inquiries regarding payroll and time/attendance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, associates or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred.

• Must have payroll experience, background in Dayforce.....(Ceridian) is preferred.

• Organized, strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel - great to have VLOOKUP, Formulas, sorting, filtering).

• Ability to collaborate with team members and other departments.

• Time management skills.

• Background in finance/accounting, human resources, or related field.

• Preference on previous work experience's industry: Not industry specific but experience in a manufacturing environment or industry with higher turnover would be helpful.
