Position Summary:
Works under direct or indirect supervision of an imaging technologist in performing diagnostic procedures, Clerical and Transport duties.
Reports to: Radiology Supervisor
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Drag Edit Delete
Minimum Education Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology. 2nd Year Student. Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Anticipated completion, as verified by program director, from a Radiography program that is accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT. Successful completion and documentation of clinical competencies and associated academic course work in the following areas: Patient Care and Basic Radiation Safety and Protection. Must possess good communication and patient care skills. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Required Skills Certifications: X Basic Life Support (BLS) with 30 days of hire
