Trustmark is seeking talented Applications Delivery Leaders to join our IT Applications Team.

This is a hybrid work arrangement position with 3 days at the office in Lake Forest, IL, and 2 days remote.

The Applications Delivery Leader owns the business and technical relationship and execution between a Trustmark line of business and IT. Acting as that strategic liaison this role acts as a consultant and subject matter expert partnering with operational and IT executive leadership to continually assess and leverage a deep understanding of current and future technology needs, develop and champion solutions, define requirements, create short and long-term technology roadmaps and lead the execution to support the business. This leader serves as the primary point of contact for business unit inquiries, works to prioritize initiatives, develops business cases, and advocates for business unit interests with senior IT leadership and works across internal and external teams to ensures the successful delivery of IT solutions to meet business needs.

Key Accountabilities

In support multiple small business units or one highly complex business unit:

  • Provides strategic consulting, support and guidance regarding key IT initiatives

  • Communicates decisions, priorities, and project information to appropriate levels of staff, leadership, and vendor resources regarding business unit requests, projects and initiatives

  • Advises and operates to deliver products and services to value of all business partners

  • Serves as a primary point of contact advisor for IT Executives

  • Plays a lead role in enabling business goal achievement through the effective use of technology and facilitates business changes through technology

Education and Experience

Candidates will bring a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and have demonstrated experience and strengths in:

  • Serving as a technical subject matter expert and consultant to business leaders

  • Assessing and prioritizing technology solutions to business needs

  • Leading both internal and vendor-based teams to achieve project goals

  • Developing and presenting technology roadmaps to support anticipated changes

  • Communicating and advising senior leadership

  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and a continuous improvement mindset
