The Water Quality Program *within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an *Office Assistant 3 position. This position is located* in our *Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

In this role, you will provide essential support to the Water Quality Program through a variety of clerical tasks and assist with records management to ensure compliance with State records management regulations. You will handle a range of administrative duties, from scanning and sorting documents to managing inventory storage.
As you work independently, you'll have ample opportunities to seek guidance when needed, fostering both autonomy and collaboration. By performing tasks such as scanning, filing, and ensuring document completeness, you'll not only contribute to the efficiency of our operations but also gain experience in records management and administration.

Program Mission: *The mission of the Water Quality Program is to ensure that all aquatic life and communities in the watershed experience cool, clean water to refresh and sustain us in a changing climate. *Please Note: This is a temporary position that will end after one year.
