Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of baking and packaging machinery. Your daily activities will include reviewing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and inspecting and testing critical machinery components like bearings, gears, and shafts. You will also install and repair electrical apparatuses, gauges, valves, and pressure regulators. Additionally, you will set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and drills, and engage in occasional metal fabrication tasks.

This is a fully on-site position in La Vista, Nebraska.

Work Environment

The workplace is a production environment committed to food safety and quality, regulated under an SQF System. It is a family-owned operation, fostering an inclusive culture with a focus on teamwork and positive employee morale. The company employs around 500 staff members. Work shifts are typically 12 hours, from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm or 5:30 pm to 5:30 am, with flexibility to shift to 10-hour schedules based on individual productivity.
