Position summary:

The Instrument and Electrical Engineer (IandE) provides instrumentation and electrical day to day troubleshooting, project, and technical expertise to solve site complex problems with new and existing equipment and reports through the Technology Organization. The person in this position is expected to support optimizing production processes with regards to safety, environment, reliability, quality, efficiency, and regulatory requirements and provide leadership in the selection, application, specification, installation, and commissioning of electrical and select process equipment. The person in this position is also responsible for leading the implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance programs required for instrumentation and electrical equipment plant wide.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft equipment specifications for specific instrument and electrical applications and contribute to projects during planning, scoping, and design review phases.
