Facilities Support Description
The candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks to provide support on an as needed basis to the Facilities Manager. This position may also have the opportunity to work with other departments.
Required Qualifications:
Lift, carry, and load furniture and other items to transport them the office building.
Ability to effectively utilize standard moving equipment
Follow established policies and procedures and direction
Ability to work multiple tasks and to communicate effectively
Able to work independently, exercise good judgement.
Physical Requirements:
While performing this job, the employee must be able to Stand, Walk 95%, Lift (up to 100 lbs), Grasp, Carry, Speak, Listen, Use of Hands/Fingers to handle/feel on a regular basis. Frequently required to climb, balance, talk or hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to walk forward, backward, side to side, and/or up and down stairs while carrying furniture.
