The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Deputy Program Manager - Operations to support corporate operations located in Marshall Islands - Kwajalein Atoll.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide oversight for al IT and Infrastructure Operations.

  • Implement utilization of technology to streamline existing processes.

  • Create process documents for work center improving efficiency.

  • Improve and balance process for disaster recovery plan.

  • Organized internal meeting to facilitate to help improve communication.

  • Facilitate collaboration meeting for IT stakeholders.

  • Provide information related to upcoming change or interruption of service notification.

  • Brief Operation status meetings to the regional network team

  • Train employees to use IT ticketing system.

  • Track status of ongoing projects

  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required, and five (5) years of experience in an IT or infrastructure management/supervisory role preferred.

  • Must possess a valid U.S. passport.

  • IAM-II

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Ability to relocate and reside at the USAG-KA in the RMI. You must meet current vaccination requirements for infectious diseases to enter the RMI. Must also be willing to meet any future vaccination requirements if mandated by the RMI. 

  • Pre-employment health screening is required due to the island's remote location and limited medical and dental capabilities.

  • Ability to ride a bicycle or walk at least 2 miles to/from work daily. There are no personally owned vehicles allowed on USAG-KA. Transportation is primarily by bicycle.

  • Ability to travel by plane or small sea-going vessel between working locations.

  • May be required to work overtime.

  • Rotational callback and emergency duty are requirements of this position.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE :

  • Must be U.S. Citizen.

  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance
