Your day to day

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager, who will oversee marketing-related communication programs, work with advertising agencies, consulting firms, and vendors to maximise advertising investments and ensure ads represent brand identity and raise the awareness and reputation of hotel and the brand locally and internationally. While acting as hotel representative for media related enquiries. Identify improvements to marketing activities and work with other departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hit all personal/team marketing e.g. social media presence, digital marketing ROI and maximise profitability. 

  • Help prepare the departmental budget and financial plans including the hotel marketing plan.  

  • Create and implement marketing plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume and food and beverage.

  • Produce monthly reports on marketing activities, analyse current/potential market, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan.

  • Create and develop special events and media blitzes to showcase the hotel to potential media. Attend major marketing events and press event locally and nationally to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for the hotel.

  • Oversee and supervise Collateral Design, Digital Channels, Social Media, Content Development, PR and Marketing activities, ensure all met standard and timeline.

  • Work closely with key business leaders, officials, and representatives of local community groups within the city to ensure constant high-profile exposure for the hotel

  • Effectively communicate and market aspects of the hotel that are sustainable or “green” and use information to gain new marketing opportunities.

What we need from you

For you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education in marketing; involves digital marketing, e-commerce and PR and communications.

  • Four or more years of experience with an international chain hotel with direct supervisory experience over a marketing team.

  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required. 

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are critical.

  • Dynamic and highly innovative thinking, work well under pressure and in change environment with full of team spirit.

  • Proven track record of business milestones.
