Mission

The Technical Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the Engineering department.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-tour and toolbox meetings with rig crew when on site.

• Promote safety and leadership. Complete formal training sessions on Quality, Health, Safety and Environment and technical subjects as described by the training matrices.

• Pursue solutions to technical equipment problems, and write analytical reports.

• Review, evaluate and prepare incentive prospects and bids.

• Help prepare technical and equipment sections of the budget.

• Develop and maintain contact with customers' drilling and technical departments.

• Support implementation of new technologies on the rigs.

• Understand the multidisciplinary aspects of conducting business and be familiar with management disciplines, including Technical Support, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Marketing.
