Cargill Maintenance Executive in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance Executive will perform routine maintenance activities to deliver continuous improvement in process and ensure the continuity of production and the operation of the plant. In this role, you will use your knowledge to fulfill maintenance both preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, while also managing the team in mentoring and developing the team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prioritize, plan and scope for maintenance activities including maintenance planning, preventive & predictive maintenance program.

  • Help with the development, design and installation of preventive and predictive maintenance program and technology in alignment with the area procedures.

  • Active involvement to support the continuous improvement program especially in productivity improvement and cost saving initiatives.

  • Assist in technical reviews of projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment specifications.

  • Support the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.

  • Ensure proper safety and environmental measures are taken for project and maintenance works.

  • Collaborate with maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.

  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of three to five years of related work experience, and supervisory skills in maintenance in manufacturing

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong data analysis capabilities

  • Knowledge in maintenance process management

  • Knowledge in the application of reliability tools

  • Experience with green belt, lean or six sigma methodologies

  • Knowledge of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
