Job Responsibilities

As an Application Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web and cross-platform mobile applications and tools for the organization. You will work closely with the development team, project managers, and stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web and cross-platform mobile applications and tools using web Technologies and cross-platform tools such as Flutter, React Native or Xamarin.

  • Collaborate with the development team, project managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Create user-friendly interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.

  • Collaborate with the QA team to identify and fix software defects and performance issues.

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in web and mobile app development and incorporate them into the software development process.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate applications and tools with existing systems and databases.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by end-users.

  • Document software designs, functionalities, and processes for reference and future maintenance.

Requirements:

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field – and preferable at least 5 years of experience developing software.

  • Proven experience in developing web and mobile applications using web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cross-platform tools like Flutter.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or Java.

  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React or Angular.

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with web and mobile applications.

  • Experience with SQL and Time Series databases like MongoDB, SQL Server.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing tools and utilities for software development and testing.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (SDLC).

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.

  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and practices.
