- Edits in-game text, voice scripts, manual text, package copy, game summaries, and other materials as needed
- Edits text and makes recommendations regarding grammar, spelling, style, voice, content, and consistency
- Researches franchise history and fact-checks content
- Creates and maintains department style guides, character sheets and other editorial guidelines
- Edits manuals, packaging, websites, social media posts and other game-related consumer-facing content
- Collaborates with proofreaders and copy editors to review game content consistently and efficiently
- Collaborates with other editors by creating process efficiencies and leveraging resources
