GeoBlue Enrollment Specialist in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania

We are hiring for Enrollment Specialists to join the team! The Enrollment Specialist role will process all eligibility and financial transactions as assigned; regularly correspond with brokers and clients regarding enrollment issues, payment issues; assists brokers and FSAs with inquiries regarding eligibility, fulfillment material and billing; manages the collection process when a failed modal billing payment occurs; create and renew accounts in the GeoBlue database (IEA), as assigned.

Responsibilities: 

  • Creates new group accounts in the database.
  • Renews existing accounts in the database.
  • Processes all necessary New Business and Renewal transactions, as assigned.
  • Ensures all premiums are established correctly in the database, as assigned.
  • Processes dependent additions and deletions.
  • Performs all cancellations and refunds/applies credits appropriately.
  • Works with the Finance Dept. on account reconciliation, financial discrepancies and charge-back requests.
  • Sends all Confirmations, Cancellation Notices and Fulfillment Notices to members and brokers, as assigned.
  • Coordinates special mail delivery requests with the Fulfillment unit.
  • Handles all eligibility transactions related to bounced payments in the manner described in the GeoBlue Business Rules.
  • Assists brokers and members with inquiries regarding claims, eligibility, fulfillment material, benefits, and billing; works with brokers to collect premium for bounced payors and invoice recipients. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferable.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the health insurance industry with customers service contact, data entry skills; experienced in broker relation interactions; preferable with exposure to explaining plan features and benefits and helping to resolve claims related issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively deal with all manner of customer complaints and concerns.
  • Familiarity with insurance products and insurance terminology.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to use automated enrollment processing software.
  • Excellent work organization, problem solving and math skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and support them with documentation.
  • Knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures.
  • Employee is required to have at minimum an internet speed of 75 Mbps (standard high-speed internet access).

Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility to work in an office and/or at-home, remote office environment.
  • Overtime and/or schedule flexibility are occasionally necessary in this position.  Individual may be required to attend key business/departmental meetings and/or perform certain business critical job functions outside of normal working hours.  
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to communicate internally and externally through receiving and responding to auditory and visual methods.

     

     Internal Pay Grade: 5

The starting pay for this role is $36,245 to $45,306 based on skill level and experience in a similar role.
