Job Purpose and Impact

The Workshop Manager will coordinate the management and control of maintenance, repair and operations warehoused materials within the organization. In this role, you will oversee the activity of maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, included maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, managing team of maintenance engineer, planner, part supervisor and mechanics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, OEM standard and optimizing equipment performance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency of inventory and cost to ensure the smooth operation and longevity of mobile equipment within an organization

Key Accountabilities

  • Resolve maintenance priorities based on established plans and assigns tasks.

  • Oversee material and obsolescence management as well as maintain condition strategies to provide operational effectiveness.

  • Ensure all maintenance repair and operations materials are in optimum condition.

  • Develop Key Performance Indicator (KPI) – WRA, VRA, PA, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, Planned/unplanned ratio – and its monitoring system.

  • Develop and review maintenance strategy procedure (including PM-Preventive Maintenance, Condition Monitoring, PCR-Planned Component Replacement, and Run to Failure) and develop maintenance standard job (duration, man-hours, and cost) to ensure that all maintenance work done by WORKSHOP is done more safely, more effectively and more efficiently.

  • Perform equipment physical condition and do economical evaluation (time span 1 – 5 years plan) to recommend continue to maintain or replace the unit (acquire, replace, or modification).

  • Ensure CMMS, Maintenance Module and other programs to support maintenance are adequately and effectively used by WORKSHOP role holders.

  • Propose and coordinates business case to CTP Business System Support team for any proposal of Maintenance System Change.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree mechanical engineering, related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of three years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Operations planning, safety and quality ownership

  • Familiar with RCM, AFA,5 WHY or related method

  • Knowledge of safety principles and methodologies

  • Lean six sigma

  • Two years of supervisory experience
